Tonollis Deli

Tonalis is a fixture on the Peninsula offering a good selection of morning coffee and baked goods. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is cozy and clean inside and in the sunken garden in the Summer.) I usually come for fruit scones & coffee but today I’m indulging. I haven’t experienced anything but great service and a welcoming environment. Originally an Hungarian deli, the new owners have retained the traditional European flare.

This a great deli, with lots of options for breakfast/lunch. You order at the counter and they bring your food. It’s a quaint out of the way place near the airport. They also sell a variety of sauces, oils, jams and honeys. The baked goods are too many and delicious to pick just one. A very nice atmosphere and places to sit outside in the nice weather.

I had the Vienna Panini and a milkshake. It was awesome. Very tasty and prepared fast. They have a small seating area inside but they quickly cleared a table for us. So good. We'll be back!

What a lovely spot. So vibrant and unique. I was planning on coming to this coffee shop for a long time, and I'm glad I chose to do it today. This coffee shop is quite different to those around the area. It has a distinctive ambience to it. The people working there are very nice even though they look so busy. The variety of desserts it's also different from other coffee shops in the area. I appreciate that. When I go to a coffee shop I like to treat myself for a nice dessert and this was pleasantly surprising. I wish I could've taken more photos of the inside, but will be coming back to treat myself again in the future.

Coming from away again to the Island after more than 20 years, Tonollis provided me with a quiet early morning welcome that whispered, “It’s ok. You found your way here didn’t you?” The breakfast Bellagio panini provided melodious mouthfuls of textures and flavours - enough for a midafternoon take-way snack! Perhaps because I also caught sight of the largest freshly- baked cinnamon bun on display. The sunken patio garden was filled with regulars, many of whom meet weekly- some of whom have been doing so for a long while. And yes, I asked, and folks were happy to respond. It’s that kind of place.

Absolutely amazing experience at tonolli’s Deli! The Bellagio Breakfast Panini was perfection—fresh, flavorful, and toasted just right. Paired with a smooth, rich latte, it made for the perfect morning pick-me-up. But what truly set this place apart were the two beautiful and kind girls behind the counter, serving with such warmth and friendliness. Their smiles and great service made the visit even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this spot for a top-notch breakfast and a welcoming atmosphere! Can’t wait to come back!

Great gem that is adopted by locals and not so known for people in Victoria. Great variety of baking which is always fresh and delicious. Recommend for everyone.
